Sometimes I can understand why kids hate their parents – or maybe it is just at mondays. I had to get Liva to school and Alva to the nursery. But first I had to wake-up thoose sleepy heads – that not being an easy thing on a monday. Was it just me or was the sun crazy early shining this morning – SO wunderful with a sunny monday with or without the blues.
Sunday family and cake – not coke – but cake, so what is not to like? Absolutely nothing besides me getting old. I love celebrating birthdays especially my own. I got what I wished for and then some. The perfume that I use and a giftcertificate to Magasin (shopaholic alarm.) Here is what happended in a photostream.
I do not know from what energy source or which force of nature kids get the ability to mess up an apartment area faster than a speeding bullet. I swear that the living room and kitchen are always cleaned up when I go to bed or put the girls to sleep. But within 2-7 minutes awake time a single girl of almost 2 years can mess up the intire living room only with puzzles? God I love kids!
After waking up 7.33ish with the girls the time spent until 12’o’clock where Liva is going to a friends house can sometimes be a challenge. Especially because Liva do not have the correct perception of time. So I think she have asked me around 239 times when she could go to her playdate. I think around 10.22ish the unstoppable amount of time questions became a tiring factor for Alva and me and all of a sudden we both fell a sleep on the couch. When I woke up Liva have created a small town of her own that made me proud – again!
I realize that I will not be nominated for the Father of the Year Award 2014 after taking the girls to Toys’R’Us AND McDonald’s the SAME (I am not insane) day! But some times it is just blessed that you can put the girls in the car and drive to Gentofte and stay at a huge toystore and afterwards go one level down and eat some fastfood. I will try to do better tomorrow – I promise!
When you wake up a regular saturday morning you can either feel relaxed, cozy and chillin’ or the opposite fresh, energetic and ready to thrill. Try to figure out who of the girls there are ready to chill or thrill?
As a dad being blessed with two girls you soon realize that your opinion does not really count. Try to look at this example with my little princess fooling around in the window being so close to mess up all my stuff. But kids be like.. talk to the hand!
Just came home from a trip to the old school Zoological Museum. The museum is under some kind of exhibition re-construction so there was no cantina and some of the area was closed down. But being a kid you do not have the same problems as an adult so the girls had a lot of fun and we ended up having some lunch at the ever expensive Joe & The Juice in Hellerup.
What a week this has been! I must say that writing the blog is much more demanding than I thought it would be. Not only the hole writing in english instead of danish thing but also the hasle of taking pictures with my phone transfering them to my Mac could be more smooth – perhaps I can figure something out for the future – I hope, I must, I will!
Anyway, I really thought that the radio I have been producing this week have been good. I am proud of my show and think that the listeners is getting to know me more also because of the blog and therefore are coming back to listen because of me being honest with my life. My second post EVER! I’ve seen a lot of bloggers taking pictures of what they eat for brunch, breakfast and dinner but I don’t eat so much food that looks good enough to be taking it’s picture. I don’t have a cool gadget or a product I can endorse.. hmm, so what to post a picture of then.. I’ll post a picture of the two girls I sleept with tonight!
